I just got Open Office 1.1.4.
I am hoping to use it to create a training record/analyzer and also a training schedule.
In reading about Open Office I learned that the spread sheet program has some limited data base capability.
I hope to be able to create entry forms for both training scheduling and recording of results. I asume the spread sheet has more than enough power to do whatever analysis I need.
My question is will Open Office handle this or will I need to acquire Star Office since it has a data bas program? |

In this regard, I don't think StarOffice will give you an advantage.

OpenOffice.org can use a variety of types of data sources. One type of data source is a spreadsheet, which should be plenty for your use. |
