Maybe you are a user without privileges in the domain and your id haven't rights to make changes.....
Ask to your Domain Admin. _________________ ........ |

Windows here
After starting OOo2 for the first time after installation, OOo2 places a folder in Documents and Settings/[owner]/Application Data with a name like 1.9.118 etc. This folder contains a user folder in which there are all your personal settings.
However, with a newer version a new folder was also created, and you ought to have brought your former user folder to this newer eg. 1.9.120 folder.
This was the past.
From the new beta rc on, the folder in the above mentioned place has a permanent name: OpenOffice.org2.
Find your user folder in one above mentioned place, bring it to this folder (let it overwrite the one inside), exit OOo and even Quickstarter and restart the program. |

Yes, our users dont have any privileges.
Our profiles and policy have been made by domain admin.
The registration problem have been solved by putting .lock file into ../Application Data/openoffice.org 1.9.104.
And about overwriting the folder into our profile at server, I have tried it, but the setting is still the same as the default.
So I m thinking to install newer version, and try it again. Thx. |

Well, I m using Beta2 now, the setting has been deployed succesfully.
But the registration form keep showing, and give an error like this:
Either another instance of OpenOffice.org is accesing your personal setting or your personal settings are locked. Simulteneaus access can lead to inconsistence in your personal settings. Before continuing, you should make sure "comp_name/user_name" closes OpenOffiice.org on host "comp_name"
Comp_name is a computer name that I use for make profile for my client.
What should I do to remove it?
I tried to modify .lock file, but it didn't work.
But this dont happen on the earlier version, if we put .lock file on application data folder. |

Finally, it solved.
Just by removing .lock file on the profile and uncheck "Load OpenOffice.org during system start-up" at memory option.
