Trying to get to grips with Draw.
I would like to know how to divide a line into two parts.
This is probably just a matter of knowing the appropriate command name then I could look in help etc.
I have tried looking up: chop, cut, bisect, divide etc. - but no luck.
(BTW Is there a user command index?)
TIA |

I'll be interested to see what the Draw experts say but here's what I tried.
Draw a line. With line selected click the Edit Points icon or right click > Edit Points. On the menu click the Insert Points icon, pick a division point and click, right click > Break. Click outside the line and you can now select either portion of the line.

| This works wonderfully and is what the original post was asking for. Neat. |
