I'm looking for a tutorial to get me up and running on OpenOffice.org Math as quickly as possible. Does anyone have any links or docs that they'd recommend?

Thanks.

That would be very cool. Please post a link to it if you do.

I've used ms equation editor before to write formulas and for the most part it works. But it's nice to have an open source and free alternative.

For your formulas try Dmaths.
It's a GPL addon.
For fun, I used Altavista's translation service at http://babel.altavista.com to read the german in your tutorial. It actually kinda works! Translation technologies still have a way to go but it's definitely better than nothing. Some sample text:

First steps: OpenOffice.org formula
Here is a collection of useful explanations and routines, which arise when using OpenOffice.org's formula editor in the everyday life.

Much better for English speakers than:

Erste Schritte: OpenOffice.org Formel
Hier ist eine Sammlung von nützlichen Erklärungen und Routinen, die bei der Verwendung von OpenOffice.org's Formeleditor im Alltag auftreten.

Thanks for the link. Oh and by the way, happy new year! Exclamation
