I cant think what of I'm missing here.
I have a column of numbers like this
12.56
23.43
45.67
I want to copy and paste them into another column that is formatted as percentages. So that I get this-
12.56%
23.43%
45.67%
But when I paste them into the column, I get this.
1256%
2343%
4567%
How do I keep the decimal point in the right place.

Use a formula in the percentage column (or a helper column)
=A1/100. |
