i like the possibility of Ooo to put photos into Impress and then export them to a very small!! swf (Flash) file. It's great! However if i have more than a couple of photos it's very time-consuming to import them. i i can't see how to Import say 25 photos at once, each one to occupy a separate Slide in Impress.
Is there such a way?
BTY, it would be nice to be able to resize all of them once they have been Imported, too.
Thanks for any imput! and Have a great morning! _________________ Now using 3.2.1 on 4 PCLinuxOS 2010 boxes (two are laptops).

I do not know if there is a way to import a number of pictures at once, however you can create your own gallery theme and then drag and drop them into an empty slide.
Tools > Gallery opens the gallery, then right click on My Theme and select properties.
In the Files tab, select Find Files and browse to the directory where your pictures are and select add all.
I know it is not much, but should help speeding up the process.
Regarding the resizing, I would not trust OOo to do it, it is much better to use specialized applications. I use GIMP although I would not recommend it if all you want to do is resizing. Maybe Picasa?
Cheers,

This is done by picture managers.
XnView does it fine (http://perso.orange.fr/pierre.g/xnview/enhome.html).
NB: don't forget to search the forum before posting, it has been asked several times already : import multiple pictures, one per slide.
Thanks to add '[Solved]' in your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed. _________________ Now on the EN user community forum |

| Advice for current readers (Nov 2010). Do not waste your time. The macro does not install in OO 3.3. Perhaps there is a problem as it old. I downloaded it, unzipped fine, and can read the instructions, but it will not install - multiple attempts, repeat downloads, etc. etc. |
