I've put together a collection of jpegs to fit a 1024x768 screen, and thought I'd insert them into Impress - I've used it before, but I'm a bit rusty and only an earlier version - this is 3.2.1.
When inserted the images are much too small, and don't fit the full slide space. I can stretch them one by one of course, but this is tedious. Have I missed a setting somewhere that will automatically fill the screen in a slide show? _________________ Howard

OK, I've worked out how to re-size the pictures by right click>Position and Size and setting the origin to 0,0 and the width and height to 28 cm and 21 cm. But I have to do this with every slide. Isn't there a way to change these defaults? _________________ Howard

I've discovered a cludge that works - after I had inserted and resized 45 pictures! It's all to do with the dpi and nothing to do with pixels (why??). If you set a dpi that is ridiculously small, e.g. 2, Impress "fits to screen"
I have been resizing my pictures using Irfanview and it's possible to reset the dpi at the same time. _________________ Howard
