Hi, although I have asked a couple of questions regarding database I am still unsure of how to use this site. I am of the older generation and have not kept up with the new terms, so I have not found away of thanking SlidRule for his/her help. And I don't know how to flag my questions as solved. Many thanks to any helpers KingFish.

Just kidding of course. I know of whom you speak. A very helpful chap. First, if I find said person in my area I will offer a tasty beverage. Apart from that, probably the most effective thing is a simple "thanks for the help, it worked" will suffice.

If you want to mark a thread as solved, you can perhaps edit the thread and place the text solved in the title. I think that few people do that here. A shame really.

There is a Post Reply button after the last message in your thread. Just click it and post your thank you message.

By your initial post in the thread there is an Edit button. Click it, add [Solved] to the title and click Submit.
