I have a table with data in it and in about the middle-ish column; I want that particular column to have only one row because the data does not vary at all (it's a constant). How do I do this? I am using OpenOffice.org 3.2 and I would very much appreciate any feedback!
Thanks in advance!

| Yes the bottom screenshot! How do you do that? Is there a way to get it done without merging? (I tried to merge but I only managed to add a row with one column instead of a column with one row. I am probably doing something wrong though) |

Block the column with your mouse, right click, Cell>Merge _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.6 on Fedora 18, LibreOffice 4.0.2 on Ubuntu 13.04 (Double Boot) |

That did it!
Thanks to both of you!
Edit: I just wanted to add that I misunderstood the "merge" term earlier. |
