|
|
Hi,
I've tried finding the answer to this but haven't found an answer.
I'm wondering if its possible to make a row/cell automatically expand as it fills.
In my case I'm trying to make a row expand as I use ctrl + enter to enter a new line in the cell, at the moment, it just shows whatever the current row height allows and hides the rest.
Is there a way to automatically make a row/column expand as it fills with informatino?
Thanks for any help with this.

What version of OOo Calc are you using?
I'm using OOo 3.2 and when I use Ctrl+Enter to add a new line to a cell the height of the row automatically increases to accommodate the new line(s).

Thanks for the reply.
I'm using 3.2 as well, but Ctrl + Enter while adding new lines to the cell, doesn't expand the height of the row.
Edit: A solution:
I've found double clicking between the rows fixes it. But only for the selected cell, however, highlighting all cells and double clicking between a row has fixed this problem for all cells. Now whenever I use Ctrl + Enter the cell automatically expands. |
