Highlighted text in MS office

Hello,
Issue: The text highlight from openOffice Writer cannot be removed in MS Word. I tried different formats: doc, odt, docx, same result. The highlight color can be changed, but not removed, on the other hand highlights created in MS office can be removed in Writer without problems. Is there any solution?

Indeed, there is some issue here. Try the Word equivalent of "Format - Default" (Ctrl+Space): that works.
