|

I can insert captions with the Insert|Caption menu. AFAIK captions must be linked to a table or figure. However, I am using the "Listing" caption after a block of source code.
Listing 3: My program
This works with Microsoft Word. In OO, if I do not select a table or figure, the Insert|Caption menu is disabled.
How can I insert this kind of custom caption? |

If you insert a frame and enter the listing in that frame, you can add a caption to it.
If your problem has been solved, please edit the first post in this thread and add [Solved] to the title bar. _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.3; OOo 3.4.1 on Windows Vista

Thank, this could be a possible solution, but it implies to modify the captions of all my Microsoft Word documents for the sake of homogeneity (i.e., to create a frame for each of my existing listing). However, I think that OO may have an option to create unlinked captions (as Microsoft Office do). If possible, I would like to do it in this way.
My current OO document comes from importing a Microsoft Word document and therefore all the captions are currently unlinked. I can also copy and paste a "Listing 3" field and OO automatically generates another caption labelled as "Listing 4". I even can copy and paste the caption to a new document.
Do you know how to generate this kind of unlinked captions using the OO's GUI? |
