I'm still on IE on my Windows machines... Embarassed

But, there was no option for Konqueror, as on Linux I use the KDE desktop... Shocked

I use Opera, much more sweet than stupid IE.

Plus nothing can beat the mouse gesture (right+left mouse button = back)

Is the neatest navegability thing for a regular mouse

I use Pheonix - brillent browser.

ALL my pages are opened as tabs so my task bar doesn't get taken over by browser icons - and the popunders/ overs are stopped, and those that slip through are always full size so i can find them Smile Browsing without popups is such a pleasure.

Main problem is the lack of password manager Mozilla has Sad

I use Opera. Very good rendering speed, tabbing works fine (as in recent Mozilla builds), M2 e-mail client is also very good.

Phoenix is awesome. For only a .5 version browser, it is very refined. I love the concept of a stripped down, lighting quick browser.

If you haven't tried it I reccomend you do.

Hi tyFUZZ-Z

Are you using both OS's on the same machine? If so, have you been able to configure it so that whichever one you use you are using the same mailboxes on your HDD? If so, can U plse say how you did it?

Well I have been using it since I got rid of windows, you have an option within the preferences menu of Mozilla called local folders. Just enter the name of a mount point where your VFAT disks are. For me it is /mnt/win_e/eric/mail and it should work

I generally use IE 6.0 on Windows, IE 5.2 on Mac OS X, and Netscape 7.02 on Linux.

My second string browsers are NS 7.02 on Windows, NS 7.02 on Mac, and Konqueror on Linux.

I really wish that Netscape or Mozilla gave me more of an option on the big OSes, but right now (despite a LOT of testing) IE still gives me the most bang for my buck on Win and Mac. Netscape is getting closer, but it's kind of an unwieldy beast, with none of the sub-apps really good enough to replace specific alternatives (Composer doesn't even have syntax coloring, and the mail app doesn't have adequate filtering capabiltiies). Mozilla is much the same, and it lacks the compatibility and perks of Netscape (no Netscape mail access in the mail client). I have high hopes for Firebird and Thunderbird, but they ain't there yet (the latter isn't even a real release yet!).

Ah well.... Looks like it is going to be IE for a while longer...

I have since dumped K-meleon, (Due to it's lack of plugin support and overall "unpredictability") Iam now becoming fond of the Avant Browser www.avantbrowser.com
