|
Having struggled for months with the crash on saving after using copy in a rtf document, someone told me 3.2.1 had been released which fixed it! It did.
But why doesn't OO flag up a new update? It tells me of new things I'm not interested in, but not important things.
Soryr to gripe but as one who flagged up this bug, I didn't even get a feedback email.

| Did you have OOo set to check for updates? BTW, there are no developers here just users. |

Yup, and it kept telling me there was a french dictionary update ......
Just thought someone here may have mentioned it to OO, before I do.

| Go to Tools-->Options--->Openoffice.org--->Online Update and check the settings. Are you using the Extension Manager to check for updates? All dictionaries are now installed as extensions. |

Changed the setting to daily, as it was on weekly.
I must admit I haven't seen the french dictionary update on the top right icon for a while. And yes it is in Extension manager!
Thanks for the help,
