I use the Canadian English standard for my documents. The bulk of the auto-correct and auto-complete entries are in U.S. English. I'm trying to find a method for renaming the OOo files from U.S. to Canadian English. Is this possible?
I am using OO 3.x in both Linux and Windows.
Thanks and have a Great day! |

On my system (3.2 on Ubuntu10.04) I have a file acor_en-GB.dat that is a zip file containing xml files with the various autocorrect options stored in them. I have no US autocorrect file so I am guessing that my default auto correct settings came in with the language pack.
Looking on Ubuntu I can see no language pack for en-CA nor does there seem to be one on the OOo web site.
Perhaps you could rename the file you have. On Ubuntu it is in your home folder .openoffice.org/3/user/autocorr and then edit the contents (if required) to a more Canadian centric version _________________ Kubuntu 11.10 LibreOffice3.4.4 |
