Hello, I am new to Calc and believe I'm attempting a project that is much too advanced for me, but I wanted to give it a shot to help out a sports team I'm involved with. I'm not even certain if Calc is capable of what we need or not.
The idea is to track and chart our players energy and soreness levels (based on their opinions) everyday throughout the season to aid us in how we are managing the team. (Disclaimer: It is meant as a simple aid, not an accurate scientific study!)
As we develop it we will improve and change the data we collect and how we are collecting it, but for now we are having the players circle an option of 1-10. We collect the data from them each day for both Energy and Soreness and chart it in one week periods. I've managed to place the chart on sheet 1 and the data on sheet 2 and the chart works perfect. (via tonnes of research on these forums and the internet)
What I'm wanting to do and having trouble with is creating a filter on the chart sheet (sheet 1) that changes the data the chart is using. I would like to be able to show only Energy or only Soreness and I would like to be able to select any particular week to show.
I would be thrilled with this alone. But if I were able to, I would love to be able to create a filter to show the average levels for all weeks combined or any select number of weeks.
If you willing to help me accomplish this I would be very grateful! If your not, no need to tell me. Thanks

As far as I can see it simply looks like all you need to do is double click the chart then right click the line then choose "Format Data Series" from the contextual menu to bring up the "Data Series" dialog. On this dialog's "Options" tabsheet under the "Plot options" select the "Leave gap" option and make sure the "Include values from hidden cells" option is not selected.
Then when you apply the different conditions via the Standard filter the chart automatically accommodates the visible data.
