| I am taking classes online and was given an assignment to create a flyer. The teacher wants work submitted in .rtf using Microsoft Word. A friend told me to get OpenOffice, so I did (I am totally computer illiterate) and I made my flyer using Draw. However, my teacher was unable to open the assignment. I tried sending it in .rtf and .odg and neither worked. What can I do to make the file able to be opened using Microsoft Word? |

Use MS Word, I'm afraid. Or Wordpad. OOo is a terrible RTF editor. But if your teacher demands Word to be used, it's maybe an implicit part of the assignment (learn to work with MS Word). _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.3; OOo 3.4.1 on Windows Vista

| I don't HAVE MS Word though....and with wordpad I don't know how to double space aside from doing it manually which is a pain. |

I opened WordPad to check and wow. I didn't remember it was that crappy, but apparently you can't even set the line height in it. Too bad. Talk to your teacher, that's all I can suggest. _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.3; OOo 3.4.1 on Windows Vista
