I would like to delete most of the references in my document (more than 100).
How can I do it easily?
Can't find any button to delete reference. Doing this from navigator would be nice.

Here's what I do.
First, make a new copy of the document, so you have the original as a backup.
Then edit/find & replace--replace the string with nothing.
When you view the nonprinting characters, you will see where you are. If it's good, then save; if it's not good, then edit/undo. |

Thank you,
I don't see what you mean. I want to delete the reference (greyed field and item in navigator), not the referenced text.

| That's not a situation I have encountered and don't have a sample to work with. I would be happy to try, if you could post a sample somehow. For sure, keep backing up as you try different things, though. |
