|

HI, I just loaded the linux version of Openoffice beta 1.1
I get pricelists from places and I usualy make a little markup on them and copy the forula (holding ctrl down selecting many spots on the spreadsheet with the formula) well I was shocked.. the most used copy paste funtion I use would not work..
so you know the fomula its say a number in cell a3 and in b4 I paste the fomula
so in b4 I have
=(b3*.05)+b3
I get my answer (thats fine and dandy..
but when I go copy that.. (in the normal versions! and back!) I can paste that any ware and it will use the cell beside it (to the left ) and mark it up my 5%
so if it was cell e66 I would paste in f66 and the fomula would show the markup of cell e66 in f66 I normaly could pick random spots on the spreed sheet with no probs !
I try it here and I get a error (well a msg !)
insert into mutiple section not possible...
AAAAAAaaaaaaah
Please tell me this is still possible.. have you changed this quick way of coping a cell formula..
If you can point me to lititure or web link much appreatiated! |

I had a spreedsheet open and clicked on the cell with some text in it. then went up to the top highlighted the text ctrl C then went to anouther open calc (spawned from this calc) and clicked on the cell and went to the top and pasted with the ctrl v and both calc spreedsheets disapeared.. ?!
beta is way beta still
Not mad just pointing out some problems to help developers note them.. Happened on more then one accasion.. has anyone else noticed this..?!
(note I am running Debian and the beta 1.1open office) my debian is from the Knoppix cd install from 04 30 03
If anyone is curious
no one has responded ?! anyone?! |

Probably no response because the problems may be unique to you or your particular set up. I cannot duplicate either problem so it is not a generic 1.1beta issue or a change in design - ctrl-c/ctrl-v works as I would expect.
If you are still having problems, register on OpenOffice.org and post a bug report. |
