| Is there an alternative to outlook with open office? I would like to use it but if I have to keep going back to outlook there is little point. |

This has been asked many times.
There is no component comparable to Outlook within OOo, but there is no shortage of free standalone mail clients available. Popular examples include Thunderbird and Evolution. |
