Has anyone been able to produce a square root in OOo 1.1b?
Doing this: sqrt(5) will just proceduce a 5 with a thick bar on top.
Anyone? |

| The square root sign always appears correctly for me, I'm also using 1.1Beta. Maybe it's just because you're using round brackets when you should be using curly brackets round the 5. |

I was already using the curly brackets. Don't know why it is not showing it properly.
I've attached an image of how it looks. Really bugs me as it makes my formulas useless.

Fantastic. It worked as you suggested by replacing the new opens___.ttf with opens___.ttf from an older version.
Thank you!!
