Using OpenOffice.org 3 for MS Word

Hi,

I am need of uploading MS-Word documents on the web servers, since MS-Office can't be installed on the servers, we have installed OpenOffice.org 3.

Please let us know
1. How to open a word document in Open Office.
2. How to copy the contents of word document in to a Stream data.
3. How to save given text into MS-Word format.

You will have to give more information, these questions are far too general. Like: what operating system is in use on the servers? How is the file supposed to be opened - by a macro or external software or by a user? Same question for saving in Word format. You may want to ask this in the Macros and API forum, there it will get more attention from the techies. I can also move this thread there if you're fine with that.

Hi,

We are trying to use the openoffice components in Visual Studio 2010.
We need to do the above said tasks using C# language.
