|
|
Now, when i got my macro running, i would like to attach the macro module to the calc file that it is related to. When i tested the calc file on another computer the macros were disappeared and i needed to install them manually from a normal text file.
The macros reside on my computer in My macros - Standard - myMacroFile1.
How could i get them copied and saved along with the calc file that they are intended to run on?

Take a closer look "Tools" > "Macros" > "Organize Macros" > "OpenOffice.org Basic...". There in the dialog you'll find thre possible locations for storing macros:
+ My Macros: This is the place you are using. These macros reside in your OOo profile.
+ OpenOffice.org Macros: Macros delivered with OOo. These macros reside in the OOo installation folder.
+ DOCUMENT NAME: Location for macros in a document. Use this. |

Thank you, seems to work. And special thanks for the clarifying explanation. Now the macro file menu seems as logical.
