I have just migrated from MSo to OOo 3.3, i have many files containing formulas. I have used iferror() formulas when i have created my file in MSo.

When i opened the file in OOo iferror() doesn't work.

I am looking for the solution to get this iferror() formula converted in OOo.

The solution probably depends in the expression being evaluated.
In general
Code:
=IFERROR(expression to evaluate, value returned when error in evaluation)
would be converted to...
Code:
=IF(ISERROR(expression to evaluate);value returned when error in evaluation;evaluated expression)

When it is possible to pinpoint the source of the error, the ISERROR part can be replaced by a simpler expression.
For example, when the expression to be evaluated is in the form of...
Code:
expression1/expression2

and division by zero is the error to be handled, the solution would be...
Code:
=IF(expression2=0;value returned when expression2 =0;expression1/expression2)

I have big spreadsheet having iferror formula created in msoffice. Many times i receive those kind of files from our vendors who are using MSo.

Can we write a macro which allows to run the iferror() formula in OOo.

We have recently migrated our users to OOo so getting some issues. I want to migrate every user in our organization.

Kindly suggest...!

I'm at a disadvantage here because I don't have Excell but if the following works for you I can make a macro for it. Please backup your file before trying.

Find and Replace:
Search for =iferror(
Replace with =if(iserror(
Under More Options, nothing should be checked.
