Hi,
I am looking for a shortcut which allows me to insert special characters (such as guillemets or angle quotes). I'd like to avoid ASCII as these are a bit inconvenient on a laptop...any suggestion?
Thank you very much
Diego

thanks, but it is not what I was looking for...as I would like to choose when to use classic inverted commas or angle quotes...in Italian we use both depending on the context...

You can use the macro here:

http://codesnippets.services.openoffice.org/Writer/Writer.InsertUnicodeCharacter.snip

and assign a shortcut to it.

Is it only guillemets/angle quotes you are interested in?

There's now also AX:

besides non-free options.
