|
|
I'm using OOo Calc 1.1.2 on Gentoo Linux.
I've created some charts from data on Sheet1 and placed each on its own sheet (Sheet2, Sheet3, etc.). I need to edit the data, but Calc won't let me. When I double-click on a chart to edit it, the Chart Data button and the item under the Edit menu remain grayed out.
Why can't I edit my chart data? |

You have to select the graph (green handles) then right-click for menu and choose "Graph Data..." (or the like). Difficult part is to select the right part of the chart object, not only a single bar/line/x-beam... _________________ Cheers

Doesn't work on the 2.0 Beta
Way to go nimrods!
Yeah, I sound like a troll but I'm not. I'm just incredibly frustrated by these guys. How am I supposed to promote this stuff when this has been going on since Sept. of last year and nobody is doing squat about it. |

Which Beta version are you using?
Have you looked at issuezilla - maybe it's an already identified bug. Maybe it's new: somebody (=> you, for example) has to enter it.
Remember: it's a beta, not all things supposed to work correctly.
And please remember: a BIG part of OOo's work is done by volunteers. _________________ Cheers

I'm using the latest beta.
I thought that 75% of the developers were paid by Sun. At least that is what I read in yesterday's news article and it would also explain how so much java got into the source code. |

I've got the same problem: cannot edit data. I am using 125 build of the beta. Any help? _________________ Using Ooo 2.2 on Ubuntu Feisty |
