When I open a Word document in OO 1.1.2, the Edit/Changes/Record menu option is ghosted out. Is the feature restricted to OO documents only? Any other ideas why this isn't available?

Bruce,
did you connect OOo to the doc-format at install ??
If not: Tools>Options>Load&Save>MicrosoftOffice
If connected it should work.

None of those options are checked "on" but it seems to be working now. It may have been a bad document, I don't know.
I wanted to make changes to the Word document and then send it back in the same format. In that case, I probably don't want to check "convert Word to OO".
