| when writing a letter with the possibility of multiple insert fields one to a line the empty merge fields leave a blank line on the letter. Would like the rest of the letter move up to fill in these blank lines |

| thanks to cwchia for the hint about hidden paragraphs. For the multiple merget fields I put one on a line and turned un the hidden paragraph function and set the true condition to be when there was no data in the merge field and oo did not a blank line and moved the rest of the lines up. this also is useful when you are doing two line addresses and sometimes the second line of the addresss is not there. |
