Does anyone know how to disable hyperlinks within the OpenOffice suite. I'm currently trying to get users to use another way of accessing the Internet but a lot of them stick a hyperlink in to access it. If I can find a way of diabling it I can make them use the other way. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi hammyhamilton,
Is this what you're looking for :
Tools > Autocorrect/Autoformat > Options tab > URL Recognition remove checks

Aaarrrggghhhh,
Just noticed we're in the Calc forum
Tools > AutoCorrect > Options tab > URL Recognition
I'm sure you would have found it

Cheers James, I thought I had already replied, must be going mad.
I found an additional way to hide the Hyperlink tab under the Insert List
goto Tools\Configure... on the Menu tab scroll down to Insert then down to Hyperlink
You can click on Hyperlink and delete it. This will remove it from view. If you want to put it back you click on the reset button.
This plus your suggestion should work for what I need. Still don't know if it's possible to remove the Hyperlink facility from the App permanently.
