i already downloaded the OO0_1.1.3_Freebsd52Intel_solver.tar.gz and uses the command tar to unzip the file. And it produces a solver folder. But i cannot find the make file or configure to compile the office.
I hope you can help me solve my problem, thanks alot |

Well, the solver as far as I know is one piece of OpenOffice.org and not the whole suite.
If you downloaded the package and not the source, simply use pkg_add NameOfPackage.tar.gz and you're on your way. Recently I've seen pkg_add fail because it could not find a few X.org libraries (it says it needs older ones than what I have, so I simply added option -f and it has worked without any problems). |
