I'm having trouble with type placement on a 3.5" X 5.5" postcard that I've designed with OO Draw. I'm using the latest release of Draw, but did not have this problem with a much older version which I recently upgraded.
I've created the card and place a block of type on the right half of it (where address information normally goes on a postcard). Everything looks fine until I go to print the card. At that point, when Draw previews the file being printed, the font is much larger and the text block has moved up and to the right, so most of the text is off the card. When I print the card, the type is exactly where the print preview shows it -- larger and up to the right, with most of it off the card. I'm printing directly to individual cards being fed from the rear tray of a Canon Pixma 870 printer. All the printer settings are customized for this card at the time of printing.
I'm at a loss at to what's happening since this same card printed perfectly with the earlier version of Draw that I had been using until I upgraded. Does anyone know what's happening here? Am I overlooking some setting in the program or the printer?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really like using OO Draw, especially for this project.
Thanks in advance,
