say in column "B" i had "12 ABCD 123" but i want to end up with "12ABCD123" how would i go about this

If you wanted to remove all the spaces in all the cells in column B you could use search and replace (Ctrl+F). Select column B, put a space in "Search for" and nothing in "Replace with", check "Current selection only" under "More Options" and then click "Replace All". You could apply this method to any "selected cells", of course.
