setting default margins on new writer doc

I want to set the default margins to .5 So when I open up a new Writer document it opens with all the margins being .5

Right now I always have to change them.

You must do a template.
-Open an empty document and press F11 in order to view the stylist
-Click on page styles (the fourth icon on the top of the stylist
-Right click on Default and select Modify
-In the page tab, change the margins
-OK
-Go to file -> save as and select "OpenOffice.org 1.0 text document template" and save the template in (main OOo folder)\User\Template
-Go to File -> Templates -> organize
-Double click in Default folder, select your template and under "Commands" select "set as your default template.
Done
