i have been using OpenOffice (actually LibreOffice recently) for some time now. All of a sudden a formatting windows on the top left has appeared and won't go away.
It blocks the views I most need to see and it won't exit. I'd really appreciate some help. Part of the problem is I have no idea of what the little window is called, so I don't know how to Google it.

PS: I am in Ubuntu 11.10. This problem occurs in one machine, a Thinkpad, but not in the other machine, an old Sony Laptop.

That's the Navigator, show/hide with F5.
If your problem has been solved, please edit the first post in this thread and add [Solved] to the title bar.
