Put them on separate lines, with paragraph breaks, then select them, then Tools - Sort.
If your problem has been solved, please edit the first post in this thread and add [Solved] to the title bar. _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.3; OOo 3.4.1 on Windows Vista

I have looked in the menu's and can find line break but not paragraph break. I tend to stear clear of such things normally. Can you tell me where it is and if I position the cursor at the point where a break needs to be made. Also can you sort any way if the names are all on different lines ?
Cannot find the word 'sort' so am assuming the paragraph break is still needed as you where saying. Would I put one break at the top and one at the very bottom of the list perhaps to get this to work and make all alphabetical after clicking sort.
Thanks very much. |

| The Enter key inserts a paragraph break while Shift+Enter inserts a line break. Sort is under Tools, as indicated, and will be inactive if you have not selected what you want to sort. |
