| How do I move one of the tab stops on the ruler without it messing up/removing all the others ? |

The default stops (tiny markers) are spaced evenly from the margin. Spacing of default stops is set in Tools - Options - OpenOffice.org Writer - General, but I suppose that's not what you need...
When you set an explicit tab stop (bolder marker), the default stops to the left of that stop will be disabled. There is no way to keep them (none that I know of). You have to explicitly set each stop you need. Default stops to the right of the last explicit stop will remain.
Explicit stops can be moved freely (by dragging, or editing in the paragraph format/style dialog), and will not interfere with position of other explicit stops. |
