OOo 1.1.0 open with black page an not white

Sometimes happen under win98 machine with OOo til including version 1.1.0 after using long times, that instead of a white page comes a black page.
Know somebody why this happen?
I resolved it with deinstalling OOo, cancelling all remaining files and orders of OOo and all manualy cleaning of the registry.

You probably accidentally changed one of your settings.

Tools>Options>OpenOffice.org>Appearance

Under general check the color that's next to Document background.

but this not resolve the problem, there must be some other solution, because there is all normal.
One time i changed it to an other color saved it and changed it back to the normal color but it reamain always black.
By the way it happens on 4 of 100 pc's
