Hi,
I am having a huge amount of trouble. The Mac versions come in a DMG file type.
This only works on Macs. Is there anyway to get the Mac version in a normal ISO file so people (like me) who have to burn the CD on a windows machine can do so.
Thank you,
Michael |

I'm guessing that you have downloaded this file on a windows machine and you want to move it on a CD to use on a Mac?
If thats the case then you can burn a normal data CD with that file on it, then stick that CD in your Mac and should work....I do that when I download linux things for home on the my windows machine at work. |

The file you download is a compressed unix file bz2.
I found a program that let me uncompress it back to its DMG file.
I thought the DMG file had to be written to CD (like an ISO) before it could be installed?
Thank you,
