I do not believe you need the "StarOffice.ComponentContext" parameter in the connection string when launching soffice to accept connections. This is required when connecting--to specify which object you want.

thank you for your reply althouth your reply couldn't solve my problem.
"StarOffice.ComponentContext" is must when connecting the OOs,DocumentLoader is the official example and have use it,i think there must be something wrong with my installed OpenOffice, because i follow the official website's install guide step by step
that is:"How to install the SDK and compile the C++ examples:http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/SDKInstallation"

i launch the OOs and make the DocumentLoader success, but i failed to run it

the following is my platform,i download the latest version from official website:
OpenOffice:OOo_3.3.0_Linux_x86_install-rpm-wJRE_zh-CN.tar.gz
SDK:OOo-SDK_3.3.0_Linux_x86_install-rpm_en-US.tar.gz

i'll be much preciate if you solve my problem or show some good advice!

thanks!

Hi, if you find a chance compare my situation with yours - to it looks pretty similar:

./soffice "-accept=socket,host=localhost,port=2082;urp;StarOffice.ServiceManager" to luanch the OpenOffice,i make the OpenOffice's DocumentLoader example, and it make success, but when i run it,it shows Error: cannot establish a connection using 'uno:socket,host=localhost,port=2082;urp;StarOffice.ServiceManager':
Connector : couldn't connect to socket (Success),i check it and found it has pid as follow:/opt/openoffice.org3/program # ps -ef | grep soffice
root 15034 16417 0 22:09 pts/12 00:00:02 /bin/sh ./soffice -accept=socket,host=localhost,port=2083;urp;StarOffice.ServiceManager
root 15042 15034 99 22:09 pts/12 00:00:06 /opt/openoffice.org3/program/soffice.bin -accept=socket,host=localhost,port=2082;urp;StarOffice

Cheers
Serephina
