| I'm having problems with the exit animation styles. When I create it and preview it's working fine but when I save it as a PPT file then reopen it, the exit animation styles don't work. Help please? Thank you! |

Possible causes:
Powerpoint not supporting the "exit animation" feature.
The OOo export filter for Powerpoint not correctly wrinting exit animation spec.
The particular animation you chose for exit is not available in Powerpoint.
All those conditions will cause the saved file to contain "nothing" for the exit animations, because . Preferably, save your file as odp. If you must use ppt (e.g. for collaboration when working on the presentation), determine the reason for the fault and find a workaround.
In general, always use the native file format for your applications in the production phase, reverting to other formats only if you must, and only as a second copy for sharing with users of other applications, if those apps do not support "your" native file format. |

| Thanks! I did try saving it in the native format but it still doesn't work. It works on some objects, not on everything still. |
