Erroneously automatic change of paragraph-style

All of a sudden I have very strange behaviour. I'm working with paragraph style "Standard". When I press ENTER for a new paragraph, the previous paragraph (not the new one) changes to "Textkörper" (German version, don't know how it is named in English).
The follow-up style of Standard is Standard. I did not change anything in the document template and I don't see anything in the options that could take influence on that. Has anybody got an idea what could be wrong? Thanks a lot.

I once ran into something that sounds exactly like this. I checked on everything that I could think of. I posted a like message here and had no replies that I remember. I concluded that something had gotten into my 'user' folder and ended up doing a complete reinstall after uninstalling and checking the All Files question.

I still have no idea what went wrong but it gives one a good reason to backup the 'user' directory every once in a while.

Hope someone else has a better answer for you.

Hi!

I know this topic has been opened for a while now (2005), but I got the exact same behavior.

I'm running openoffice (3.3.0) on a macbook with Snowleopard. I used to work with NeoOffice, but they started requiring donations in order to continue having updates, so I switched to openoffice for mac and since then I've been having this issue.

I work with Styles extensively and whenever I hit enter to create a new paragraph from a paragraph using a custom style I have, the paragraph juste before the new one changes from my custom style to something like "First Line indent" style or "Hanging indent" style.

If I undo right away before I do anything else, the paragraph style comes back to my custom style and then I can continue with my new paragraph. It's a solution I found, but it's a pain in the *** to have to do undo everytime I start a new paragraph...

I'm wondering if more peope ran into this and found a way to fix it since 2005...
