Fonts switch back for each line!

I am writing a document, where I switch font for each line ...
Now, at the new line I switch font, and start to write, but the program switches automatically back to the font I wrote with in the previous line!!!!!

VERY annoying!!!! :evil;

What to do???

I have WinXP and OOo1.1.3 or whatever is the latest....

I assume you are doing something like at the start of the line choosing a new font, typing some text, then pressing enter.
Writer is assuming that you want to keep using the same font. You can think (not the actual case but useful analogy) of there being a code at the end of the paragraph, by pressing the right arrow key you move past this code so that when you press Enter the next paragraph will return to the default font for the paragrapgs style.

This brings me to my next point, it is usually better to use styles than to use direct formatting.
