Hi,
I'm quite new to OO but not word processors in general. I am currently using OO Draw to create a English Language Study Book. I have looked for the answer to this question for a couple of days but to no avail so please forgive me if the question has been asked before or the answer is obvious.
The problem I am having is that whenever I insert text into the document it automatically starts in italics and I have to click the italics button to turn it back to normal. It is annoying and frustrating to have to do this every time I open a new text box.
Does anyone know how I can set it so that the default for text is normal.
I greatly appreciate any help.
Thanks
A big big thank you floris_v, my work is now much less frustrating and also a lot quicker. A fantastic and super quick reply!!!

Welcome to the forum.
Press F11 to open the stylist. Now click in a text box; when the cursor is in some text, one of the items in the stylist will be highlighted - probably Default. Right click that and select Modify, select the Font tab and set Typeface to Standard.
If your problem has been solved, please edit the first post in this thread and add [Solved] to the title bar. _________________ LibreOffice 3.6.3; OOo 3.4.1 on Windows Vista
