Keep tuning off the the grid lines, but they still print.They are also visibile in print preview.
Used the Options View checkbox first and the page was created this way.
Then used the Format Page and tell it "line style - none", but it automatically switches back to .05 pt when I recheck.
Tried to cut and past to a fresh page. |

Did you uncheck Format > Page > Sheet > Gridlines 
When I check/uncheck them the gridlines are visible/unvisiible in the print preview.
It is a little bit hidden if you don't know it
