|
|
Hello,
I just submitted an issue to issue tracker:
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=36172
BUT I need help on two things:
1) How do I edit a submitted issue of mine?
2) How to search for an issue?
I tried using issue tracker help and FAQs which gives me this next question:
How can I use issue tracker help effectively _________________ # : - ) |

1. I dont' think you can edit your post, but what you can do is post additional thread there to correct/add to your earlier comment.
2. I believe you must have missed the 'Query' link located right belown your Issue Number when you look at the issue. It is on the top of the page.
Good luck and have fun. |

Thanks for your answer... I can see now the "Issue Tracking Query"... however I keep getting: Your query returned no results. Please refine your query and try again when I click submit query button (searching for keyword "chart").
Where did I go wrong or what should I select to seach for issues on charts? or find issues made by a certain person, say "cwchia". _________________ # : - ) |

The keyword field is there for specific purposes. Try clik on the 'keyword' link.
Chart? did you try the option 'Chart' under 'Component:'?
about searching for a particular reporter, I have no idea. |

I found the way to look for bugs reported by a certain reporter:
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/query.cgi
Somewhere near the bottom of the page there are 2 fields for 'Username:' enter the name 'xxx' as appeared in 'xxx@openoffice.org' of the reporter and mark 'Reporter' accordingly at the end of that line. Also make sure that you define the appropriate fields at the top of the page. If you want to see ALL bugs reported by (say) xxx then make sure to deselect the fields on top of the page (eg those under Issuetype, Component, Subcomponent etc)
Good luck and have fun. |
