Impress Hangs Under Linux With Two Screens

I am running Mandrake 10 with ooffice 1.1.2. I have two sgi 1600sw flat panel monitors running on two oxygen 1600sw pci videocards. My Xsetup has these two screens running side by side flawlessly in every application except for Impress. When I open a document in Impress, the application hangs. All of my other applications continue to run without any problems and XWindows and KDE continue to function. I have to kill Impress to get it to go away. If I disable one of the screens to run in single screen mode under X, Impress works just fine. Any ideas?
