I have a huge document which has English type quotation marks and I need use German quotation mark (start in the bottom and end on top).

It looks like this:
"Hast du nichts zum Anziehen in deinem Spind? Hat doch jeder!"
And should be:
„Hast du nichts zum Anziehen in deinem Spind? Hat doch jeder!”

The document is by now 25 000 words long and I cannot go through it by hand.

Help!

I used the language setting German/Germany
I went to "Tools" and clicked on autocorrect options localized opitions and marked the default quotes correctly. It now uses the right quotes, when I type but not the whole text.
Please help... I am pulling out my hair...
Thanks,
Koko

If you search for a space followed by " then replace with a space followed by „ you will probably get most. If you install the AltSearch extension and search for \p" and replace with \p„ with Regular Expressions checked I think you should find most of the rest. You will still need to go through the document and check all " are correct I would think.

Thanks... I will try this. I am almost cross-eyed from doing almost half of the document by hand - lots of dialog.
Thanks
