Hi,
OK, you post the question in Writer but talk about a report. Well Writer is not a report generator so tell us where does the data comes from a spreadsheet or a database?
And how do you get the data into the Writer document?

O.K. The print out comes from loading a Writer document into a macro. The data comes from a database. The database is good, as in no problems posting new data or new records etc. The information I print out is correct and in the correct order, the fields just don't appear on the print out where I have placed them on the Writer document.
The placement of the fields on a print line seem to be controlled by how many characters are in the database field, not by where I placed a field marker.
Thank you for answering
