|
|
Inadvertantly I logged off without saving a document in OO Writer. It happened on my HP mini and the bottom of the screen cut off the command button for it to recover the file in question. I looked for a key combo - found nothing. If I hit "enter" the screen goes away and OO starts. However, the recovery page keeps coming up. I removed the file it is trying to recover, the recovery page still comes up. Finally I removed OO from my system and re-installed it and lo and behold, up came the document page. Grrr..
Is there a way I can remove this nuisance?
Thnkyou in advance. |

Hi,
Grr. why don't you let OpenOffice recover the file?
It take less time than uninstall and reinstall OpenOffice.

On my HP Mini screen, I could not get down to the key that activated the recovery. (Note my original email above.) Grrr... |
