I'm a novice HTML editor and am using Writer to do a simple web page. I want to insert some images (which I can do). I have inserted several images horizontally on the same line. I would like to center some text below each image to provide a title/description of each. I can enter a line of text and manually make things line up but what would be much better would be a title attached to each image so that the image and title travel together.

I've investigated captions a bit but they don't seem to be very flexible. I don't want a category and numbering, etc. And I want control of the font/style of the titles.

How can I do this?

Larry

I'd recommend PaintShop Pro, but that costs even though shareware. Go here:

www.nonags.com\nonags All freeware, from good to excellent.

Look for PhotoFiltre. You can add text to the image before you then put it into your web page. There's lots more in this program too.

David.

Can't he use frames? Then aling frames orizontally, instead of images.
But I don't know how this looks in a web browser... For a better look, editing the image would probably be the best choice Rolling Eyes Wink
